Following the July release of the Transformers II pack, the G.I. Joe pack is set to release exclusively at Footlocker House of Hoops locations in August. Similar to the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra is expected to be another summer blockbuster, complete with a dedicated detailed shoe package. And just like the Transformers limited editions, the box the shoe comes in is virtually identical to the original 80’s toy packaging of the G.I. Joe action figures.

G.I. Joe + Nike Zoom Sharkalaid

The mysterious Cobra ninja Storm Shadow (and his connection to his Joe counterpart, Snake Eyes) is probably the deepest storyline of G.I. Joe lore. It is rumored to be hinted at, if not delved into somewhat, in this summer’s G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. Nike has chosen to continue their collaboration with Hasbro (fostered through the aforementioned Transformers sneakers) with Storm Shadow’s Nike Zoom Sharkalaid.

Mysterious Tattoo Emblem

The Storm Shadow Sharkalaid is comprised of a white upper, accented with black laces, straps, and the COBRA emblem on the tongue, and Storm Shadow’s mysterious tattoo (that he shares with Snake Eyes) on the fingerhook on the back and a semi-translucent sole. These are dropping in the middle of Auguest along with the G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra package only through Footlocker House of Hoops retail stores.
